Cambridge Energy Resources enters in to a strategic partnership with Sunlight Solar Energy to offer Residential Lease Program in the US
Cambridge, MA May 28, 2010:Cambridge Energy Resources (CER), a Cambridge Energy Group Company, today announced a strategic relationship with Sunlight Solar Energy (SSE), a designer and installer of grid-tied solar solutions for residences and businesses, to jointly offer a new and exciting product, “Residential Rooftop Lease” to its residential customers.
The lease program enables customers to lease, rather than buy, solar (photovoltaic) systems preconfigured to maximize electricity generation. The program offers two of the most common products (3KW and 5KW systems) with additional provisions for a custom design. The lease program helps customers to use clean energy at comparable rate to current utility rates. . This is expected to accelerate the growth of local renewable solutions.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Bhaskar Panigrahi, Chairman of the CER group, mentioned that “Residents in the US will experience a whole new way to contribute to carbon reduction without paying more for electricity than what they do now. With the new residential lease program, customers will have multiple options to choose from and control their future. The creative initiative is designed to meet and exceed grid parity expectations.”
