Bhaskar Panigrahi, Chairman and Managing Partner

Bhaskar Panigrahi
Bhaskar has a rich experience of more than 14 years as a serial entrepreneur. Bhaskar has extensive experience in setting up, building, and formulating corporate strategy and direction for various successful organizations. He is currently Chairman of Cambridge Energy Resources, Sustainable New Energy, and Avanti Holdings.  Prior to founding Cambridge Energy Holdings, Bhaskar was co-founder and Chairman of Cambridge Technology Enterprises, a global business and technology Services Company specializing in enterprise transformation and modernization services. Bhaskar led a successful IPO of Cambridge Technology Enterprises on both Bombay and National Stock Exchange in India. Under his leadership during five years, Cambridge Technology had grown at 100% CAGR. Prior to Cambridge Technology Enterprises, Bhaskar served as CEO of Cell Exchange, an enterprise systems developer to government enterprises. Prior to that, he served as the CEO of Unique Computing Solutions, an Internet technology and services firm. He also co-founded e-Solutions Integrator in 1999, an e-business consulting firm, which subsequently merged with Unique Computing Solutions. Bhaskar promoted two other technology companies, Mascot Networks (product and solutions provider in education space) and Trading Research Design (financial risk management solution provider).
Bhaskar holds a BS in Computer Science from National Institute of Technology, Suratkal, India.

Achyuta N Bakshi, Managing Director, India

Achyuta N Bakshi Achyuta started his career in Sterlite Industries Ltd ,a VEDANTA Resources group of companies having interests in nonferrous metals and having an 11,000 MW power plant. Worked as Vice President to AKSH OPTIFIBER Ltd. Remained as consultant to Rosendhal Gmbh,AUSTRIA. Headed number of projects in the Middle East, Europe and India as a consultant. He is the founder and Managing Director of ABMinerals pvt ltd, ABM Projects pvt ltd and Ganjam Zircon pvt ltd. ABMinerals owns and operates a number of mines in the state of Orissa. AB minerals and ABM Projects work as contractors to Vedanta Aluminium ltd. Gopalpur ports ltd and Delhi Metro Rail Corporation.
Achyuta has a B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Regional Engineering College, Calicut.

Salvador Gomez, Managing Director, Latin America

Achyuta N Bakshi Salvador Gomez serves as the Managing Director of the Latin American Operations of Cambridge Energy Resources. Prior to joining Cambridge Energy Group, he spent 6 years as a senior member at Telefonica, managing the telecom operations. Salvador was also a senior member for Telcel C.A., a leading telecom company in Latin America, later acquired by Telefonica. Prior to his career in the telecom space, he spent 17 years at Pepsi, and later for Coca-Cola in upper management roles, specializing in managing the business integrally, with a broad experience in the commercial and manufacturing areas. During his tenure with Coca-Cola, he joined the international operations in Mexico and Latin America.
Salvador has BA and BS in Business, majoring in Management and Finance, and an MBA preparation part in US Northeastern University and Venezuela IESA institute.

B. M. Khanna, Principle, Telecom Solutions

Mr. Khanna Mr. Khanna has an immeasurable experience in the telecom and IT field and is very well known across the telecom industry. He served the Dept. of Telecom (DOT), Govt. of India holding several key positions and retired from active service as Chairman & Managing Director of Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd. (a public limited telecom company entrusted with the management of telecom systems of Delhi & Mumbai) in July, 1993. He took over as CEO of MTNL, New Delhi in 1986 and during his seven years as CEO, MTNL came to be recognized as amongst the five most efficiently managed Public Sector Undertakings. His outstanding achievements include "Telecom Man of the Year Award" at the hands of the then Vice President Shri K R Narayanan at Mumbai and "Shiromani Vikas Award" by Rev. Mother Teresa at Kolkata.
Mr. Khanna was the CEO of Indian Telephone Industries (ITI) at Allahabad from November 1979 to April 1983 & Deputy Director General (Telecom Plg.) responsible for the formulation/ implementation of the Seventh Five Year for Indian Telecommunications at Telecom Headquarters from May 1983 to March 1986. He was also the senior expert with the ITU at Addis Ababa for the implementation of PANAFTEL SYSTEM for the Africa Region from 1978-1979; and prior to that he was Director Long Distance at Telecom Headquarters from July 1975 to September 1978 and was responsible for the roll out of microwave and satellite communication systems on a countrywide basis. He also had a stint of around four years in Mumbai as Director, Microwave Projects for the Western Region of India.
Fellow of the Institution of Electronics and Telecom Engineers; Mr. Khanna after his superannuation has been active as a business consultant to several MNCs, key amongst them being AT&T (NCR) for over five years, Lucent Technologies India Ltd., M/s Arraycom, Hughes Network Systems of US and CH2M Hill since its inception in India for over six years, and currently American Tower Corporation and P2PCash of USA. As a senior member of the telecom fraternity in India, Mr. Khanna has been associated with the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) at the key policy planning level. As a member of the CII's National Telecom Council, he has been intimately involved in several key telecom policy initiatives taken by the CII, as also the regulatory issues affecting the Telecom Industry in India.

Mahesh Choudhury, VP, Operations

Mahesh Choudhury Mahesh heads the operations of Cambridge Energy Group Companies and also leads the operations of expanding the CER's tele-tower power solution in the global market. Prior to joining Cambridge Energy Group, he was Director Marketing at Cambridge Technology Enterprises (CTE). During his tenure with CTE he was also the head of its Products support practice that supported product companies in North America by leveraging its global delivery center based in India. Before joining CTE, Mahesh was with Rolta, a global market leader and solution provider of innovative IT solutions, services and software. He headed their mapping department and led the organization in developing innovative solutions for the global market based out of North America. Mahesh has over 18 years of experience in handling cross border and globally distributed teams to manage business operations, marketing, supply chain and delivery.
Mahesh has MS and M. Tech Degree in Earth Science IIT, Mumbai.

Dr. Abhaya K. Bakshi, Group CTO

Abhaya K. Bakshi
Abhaya is one of the founding members of Cambridge Energy Resources. Previously worked for 12 years in Saint-Gobain High Performance Materials, Inc. as a R&D Group Leader in their Grain & Powders Division. During this time he worked extensively on the production and uses of silicon carbide powders for abrasive and ceramic applications. Dr. Bakshi has published over 20 technical papers mostly in the particulate science and technology field. He has 5 patents pending in related areas.
Dr. Bakshi has a Ph.D. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Michigan Technological University.

Ramesh Reddy - Chief Financial Officer

Ramesh Reddy
Ramesh is the Group CFO heading the finance operations of Cambridge Energy Group Companies. Prior to joining Cambridge Energy group, he was the CFO of Cambridge Technology Enterprises (CTE), during his tenure with CTE he helped the company to successfully complete its IPO and listing on BSE & NSE, headed the company's M&A transactions to help consummate 6 transactions in a period of three years, and helped raise multiple rounds of debt and growth equity. Before joining CTE, Ramesh co-founded Virinchi Technologies Ltd, a Hyderabad based start up in e-Business and Web-based analytical solutions. He helped Virinchi raise capital through pre-IPO investment and public funds from its IPO and listing on BSE, he also headed the international operations of the company. Ramesh has over 19 years of experience in handling corporate finance, business operations, M&A and providing investment banking related services. He has handled 4 IPOs and over 21 M&A transactions. He is also an independent director on the board of Ybrandt Digital Ltd, a leader in digital marketing services and a pre-IPO company.
Ramesh Reddy has a Chemical Engineering degree from IIT, Chennai, and holds a Management Degree in Finance & Marketing from XLRI, Jamshedpur.
